3D printing has been incorporated in to about every area of our homes. Most consumer products in our home have been 3D prototyped before tooling and mass production ever takes place. The light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, phones, thermostat housings and the list could go on and on. But what about our actual home itself? When will we be purchasing our digital floor plans and having a construction company come out and set up their giant 3D printer? Sounds like total science fiction—Right? but it is a lot closer than you think. Andrey Rudenko has not only built a cement 3D printer but has printed a castle to prove it.
