2D printers press layers of ink on a surface in order to replicate 2D images. 3D printers form layers upon layers of engineered materials in specific and incremental patterns in order to replicate 3D objects. 3D printed circuit boards are the encapsulation of both form and functionality. The circuit board must remain flat while the pattern is printed on a copper plate. Upon drying successfully, the flexible material is peeled off carefully to maintain space perimeters between circuits. 3D printing is highly favored by consumers’ customary choice options as well as their pocket books.
